While I won't go out of my way to call up racist former friends and gloat, I absolutely agree that the expectation that I be civil and sympathetic is unreasonable. Yesterday I drove by a "Stop the Steal" protest, rolled down my window, and yelled, "Get over it, you lost!"

But it's more than just the emotional reaction that makes this okay, in my opinion. Trumpers are actively calling for votes to get thrown out and are refusing to accept the results of the election. It's absurd to expect me to be civil when that defeated party still thinks that the game is afoot. Being civil at this point would be letting my guard down. If the opposition still thinks we're playing, we should continue to bury them and rack up the points.
