A Fetus is Not a Living Human Being: Proof

There are no reasonable discussions about abortion anymore. Both sides are providing the obvious answer to completely different questions.

The pro-choice side asks, “Should women get to choose what to do with their bodies?” The obvious answer is “yes.”

The pro-life side asks, “Is murder wrong?” The obvious answer is “yes.”

The problem is that, contrary to what you may have heard, there is such a thing as a stupid question. The question that pro-lifers are asking is based on the idea that fetuses are living human beings.

This premise brings “debates” about abortion to a grinding halt. The pro-life side says that fetuses are living human beings. They use humanizing words for fetuses, like “babies” and “the unborn,” to play the emotional game in this very emotional topic. The pro-choice side says that fetuses are not living human beings and that, even if they were, women should not be forced to go through a pregnancy that they do not want.

Unfortunately, the pro-choice side never goes further than this. They never seem to challenge the notion that fetuses are alive. They avoid it like it is some philosophical or religious belief that cannot be answered.

It can be answered.
